Waste Water Equipment
How the system works…
The RT Unit is Filled with effluent. The turbine mixer is started and DH Reactant is added. After 5 minutes of mixing a large floc will form. The mix of the floc will sink to the bottom of the tank, usually in a couple of minutes.
Once draining and filtering begins. Cleaned water from the upper area of the tank is drained first, followed by the floc (sludge). Filter media captures the solids, allowing the clean water through to a clean compartment. A discharge pump automatically transfers the fluids to sewer or recycling vessel.
An Automated conveyor advances the filter media and sludge as needed. This usually requires only 5 feet of filter media and sludge for disposal. The sludge dries to a cake, without the need of a filter press. The process is now complete. The water will pass local discharge limits, and the sludge will pass TCLP
Giant Model: PBF-30 Paper bed filtration system.
A thirty gallon capacity system for filtering and recycling the outflow from a mass finishing system. As the fluids drain from the vibratory unit, they pass across a filter bed. The water drains through and the solids carry out with the filter paper. The paper is advanced automatically, and it falls into a collection bin. The filtered water is recycled back into the mass finishing unit. The paper only advances as needed, so there is no waste.
