DRIVE UNIT: 50 HP T.E.F.C. Hostile Duty High Efficiency, 460 volts, 3 phase, 60 cycle motor.
MECHANICAL VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE: Manual adjustable pulleys coupled with belt to change the RPM of
machine.
MACHINE BASE: is manufactured of steel beams and high carbon plate, heavily gusseted all welded construction for
maximum rigidity. Floor mounting pads are furnished for 3/4" floor mounting studs. The rigid base is then covered
with 10 gauge high carbon steel welded and ground for precise finish and fit. Access panels allow entry to the machine
base for periodic maintenance and cleaning.
VIBRATORY MECHANISM: The Dual Balanced Suspension Drive is mounted on extra heavy duty Spherical roller
bearings in precision turned housings securely attached to the vibratory tub. This mounting system and the long
eccentric weights create even action through the processing chamber allowing continuous duty under the most adverse
conditions. The tuned coil springs are mounted on urethane pads and are off-set front to rear allowing a natural rolling
action with less in put from the eccentric train. This natural action results in extended bearing and tub life cycles. All
bearings are lubricated by an automatic fail safe system. Grease is injected into the bearings on a timed basis controlled
by an adjustable solid state pulse unit located within the control panel. The vibratory unit is driven by V-belt and pulley
arrangement from power unit. Variable amplitude is adjusted manually by adding additional weights to the eccentric bar.
THE VIBRATORY TUB: is constructed of heavy reinforced steel tube gusseted it's entire length. The welded
structure is stress relieved and shotpeened after welding to prevent fatigue. Rear end of tube is equipped with a plug
discharge door, for discharging media into container. Drainage of contaminants from the machine is by means of
perforated 1/8" diameter holes at bottom of tube. Effluent flows to drainage hoses leading to effluent container.
VIBRATORY BEARING LUBRICATION: Automatic fail safe, grease system for heavy duty spherical roller
bearings on vibrator shaft. The system consists of: a reservoir, air operated pump, injectors, filter, necessary fitting and
tubing and electrical controls for fail safe operation. Pump mechanism is solenoid operated so as to provide lubrication
only when machine is in operation.
OSCILLATING SCREEN SEPARATOR: is designed to receive parts and media on a continuous basis from the
vibratory machine and automatically separate parts from media. The screen deck is 24" wide by 72" in length molded
out of urethane with wire reinforced designed to convey separated finishing media to the inclined conveyor. Parts are
discharged from the end of the separator into customers receiving container. A secondary fines screen deck ejects
small media chips, part debris and flash from the system continuously. Screen is powered by a 1 HP, 1800 RPM
motor, 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 cycle driving a positive displacement eccentric through v-belts and pulleys.
MEDIA RETURN CONVEYER: The media return conveyer is designed to convey media from the screen deck
discharge to the entry end of the vibratory tube. The conveyer is 18 inches wide and travels on canted rollers. The
canted design keeps media in the center of the belt resulting in no media loss or belt damage. The belt is driven via a 1
horse power 460 volt motor through a gear reduction head. Standard belt speed is 107 feet per minute.
JIC CONTROL PANEL: U.L. Listed components housed in a Nema type 12 enclosure. 460 voltage is transformed to
110 volts at operator controls. Includes start/stop push buttons, compound system selector switch and plug in
receptacle, lapsed hour recorder, and fused disconnect.
